Kakapo
The bird is an endangered native bird from New Zealand. Nearly 35 Kakapos
have been infected by a fungal disease, they are in all different places around the
country and are getting treated for their condition. The Kakapo has a herbivorous
diet.They eat seeds,nuts,fruit, berries or flowers. The Kakapo lives in New Zealand.
Here are some places they are sometimes found in: tussocklands, scrublands and
coastal areas. It also inhabits forests dominated by podocarps. Kakapos have
a few different green shades in there feathers, their beak has a yellowish whitish
colour in it.
